The writing name of Deborah Burks

Deborah Burks spent twenty years building the world you are about to enter. She wrote it by hand, filling notebooks with prose, maps, histories, and languages that existed nowhere but in her imagination. She took writing classes to sharpen her craft. She joined forums under the name "Meandrous Quill" to share her journey with other writers. She drew the maps herself, in pen and pencil on large boards, charting coastlines and mountain ranges and the paths her characters would walk.

The result is "Dragon's Eggs and Spirit Stones": a high fantasy novel of runestones and dragon paths, of bards and runesmiths, of sprites on the wind and bonds of honor sealed with a third eye. It is 48 chapters and over 114,000 words. Every one of those words is hers. No AI wrote them. No ghostwriter shaped them. This is the work of one woman's mind and heart, poured out over two decades of patient, devoted craft.

Deborah passed away from COPD and hypertension. She never saw her book published. But she left behind a complete story, fully realized, waiting to be read. Her husband Dana is sharing it here, freely and without restriction, so that the world she spent her life building can finally be explored by others.
